As you can see, this blog has been inactive for a long time.. I don't really play anything, these days, other than some Facebook games (mainly, SimCity Social). Also, Vuodatus.net (=the Finnish blog host) was bought and completely revamped, which caused massive changes to the blog dashboard - and it's still early days with the new version.. But so far, it's not possible to write/edit blog entries in HTML view, which is a bummer for me in general as most of my pictures are on Flickr..

Anyway.. I've been thinking if I should delete this blog, or just keep ignoring it (LOL), but I think I'll still keep it, in case I ever happen to feel like building some Sims 3 houses, or such..

My current purple layout is not really ideal at all, I just wanted to have something else than the default clear white, so this was a quick change..

I'll certainly get this upcoming EP (if only for the new objects), but I think this is the first time when I feel very disappointed with an EP as it doesn't seem to contain anything interesting.. I hate clubbing, I hate celebs, I hate vampires (in general - I do like True Blood, though, and I'm obsessed with the Twilight series..) I'd much prefer to see TS3 version of Seasons or Pets, for example..

I've used some EP & store items, so if your game is missing those, they will be replaced with default items, and your mansion will end up looking a bit different. That's why I wanted to share these screenshots from my own game, to show how it's meant to look.



I used lots of trees for the garden, thinking of certain posh country houses and their gardens in County Wicklow..



There's parking for two cars..







Downstairs has a large hall with a feature fireplace, large living room, kitchen / dining area, bathroom, and corridor entrance to the huge cellar, which I've left empty..

Upstairs has large open plan living space, two bedrooms (I've only furnished one of them), and another bathroom.

I was hoping to get the latest EP and stuff pack for The Sims 3, but no such luck.. Now that PC gaming seems to be dead, it seems that the game shops aren't even carrying the few remaining PC games - or if they do, they've already sold the two or three copies they had.. Bleh. I want the new stuff for my TS3!!!
